Service Description

Adolescent to Adult dogs that need improvements in basic obedience and manners at home, or are displaying extreme behaviors in fear or conflict can benefit from in home private teaching. Private training is time for you and your pup to have individualized and customized training, which can take place in the home or outdoor environment, depending on the skills being taught. These sessions may cover crate or house training, socialization, and basic obedience, as well as any other common house manners or basic behavior concerns. Management steps and addressing extreme behaviors can begin here. I can help you and your dog begin to live harmoniously. These sessions can also be useful for teaching new skills like introducing agility, frisbee, water sports or walking skills. ➡️ The first session is 90 minutes and includes an assessment, developing a training plan with you of behaviors you want to change and teach. We will start with exercises, and identifying ways to incorporate them into your daily life to decrease stress and pressure for your pup and your household. ➡️ Continued sessions will include assessing progress, areas for improvement and strengths to build on. Training exercises can be adjusted, advanced and added to accommodate the behavior training goals. ➡️ Hand outs for behavior exercises, progress tracking and training logs are available. ➡️*Session costs may increase for multiple dogs and travel outside of St. Augustine. ➡️A reduced rate may be available for eligible non profit rescues and their approved foster homes. ⭐Contact me directly for scheduling availability!
